Olmo<br>Department of Theoretical Physics &amp; IFIC, University of Valencia \u2013 CSIC<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segunda-feira, 04 e Quarta-feira, 06 de maio de 2026, das 11h \u00e0s 12h30min, na&nbsp;sala 201 do Departamento de F\u00edsica\/CCEN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RESUMO: In this mini-course, I will present the basic principles of the raytracing technique applied to the study of the geometry around compact astrophysical objects using null geodesics. The information contained in these geodesics, together with the properties of the surrounding matter, provides the key ingredients for constructing the intensity profiles observed by the EHT collaboration\u2019s radio telescopes.
